Summertime equals lots of free time for the kids. With this in mind, I am always looking for fun and cheap things to do with my kiddos. Today we went to the library for some free fun with the Clark Planetarium. They showed the kids a variety of science related experiments. The presenter from the Planetarium demonstrated how to blow up a balloon with liquid nitrogen and showed how a bouncy ball turned hard and cracked when placed in the liquid nitrogen. The thing my kids liked the most was that they were able to touch a meteorite. It was heavier than it looked by a lot.
We left the library excited and enlightened! The kids can't wait until next week to when Scales and Tails come to show off their awesome and slightly scary reptiles. We really enjoyed this last year.
